For the voice that fights itself.
I almost lost my voice to MTD. I reversed it. Now I specialize in voices that don't respond to standard training.
I was five semesters into music school when a doctor told me to stop singing.
Three years of training had left me with vocal fatigue: swollen cords, a body gripping where it should have been free. I moved cities to study choral conducting instead. The teacher I found there, a Cuban opera singer who had been performing since his twenties, watched me struggle and told me I didn't have the talent, that I'd damage other voices if I kept going. He wasn't being cruel. Singing had never been hard for him. He simply didn't know what to do with a voice that fought itself.
So I got obsessed. Speech therapists, vocology research, every exercise tested on myself before I gave it to a student. What I kept finding, case after case: vocal hyperfunction. Two opposing muscle groups pulling against each other at the same time, every single phonation. The voice isn't weak. It's fighting itself. And the harder you push, the tighter the lock.
Twelve years later, I specialize in exactly the student conventional teachers give up on. My voice still isn't fully recovered. But every exercise I give you, I've tested from the inside. If you've been told you don't have the talent, I know that feeling. And I know it's wrong.
Your throat tightens on the high notes. Your range stops at the same wall every time. You push harder and it gets worse. You rest and it comes back, but not quite the same. That isn't a talent problem. It's a physical pattern with a name, and it responds to a specific approach. If that's you, you're exactly where you need to be.

If your voice has been stuck at the same wall, here's where you find out why. One session. I listen, assess, and tell you exactly what's happening physically — and what needs to change. If you don't hear a clear difference before the session ends, you don't pay.
